Ego

I'm in hatred of most things at the moment. The human ego being the most prominent of them all... douchebaggery and heartbreak close seconds and thirds. However, I am in love with this song. It's currently available on iTunes, but the full release doesn't come out until June 13th. It's a truly great song. I seriously dislike Feist and Joanna Newsom and most of the arsty Pitchfork endorsed crapfulness that people relate her to, but Regina Spektor is incredible. She primarily comes from a background of playing piano solo in the antifolk scene of NYC, but this album features much more guitar and "full band" type features.

Cool song. I actually found another new piano girl who is my favorite at the moment, Christine Anderson. She's sings that song "Over Now" that is so beautiful! She actually got famous on MySpace or something, with an album she recorded in her living room live in one take. But she's really good, like sick good.
